School rather sucker punched me this year (Why did I decide to take both sociology and philosophy in the same semester??) but I'm finally getting my footing. Today is my birthday - finally 21. Although I don't drinnk so it's rather anticlimatic. I know it's been a while, but i have to admit I was hoping for a couple more entries to come in the last couple of weeks - as it is there wasn't enough entries to really be able to judge any of the rounds, so everyone who entered got 2 points per entry. As you may have noticed, the points are back and you are completely able to redeem them again.
This round is all about the xfiles (minus the retouch). With the new movie coming out this friday it seemed perfect. For the first time at Abyssfull the color challenge is of a male. Can't wait to see some of the entries for that one.
Updates might be a bit scarce at first but by the time August hits everything should be calm. This challenge is going to run longer than the others (6 weeks, instead of the normal month length) because I know we've lost quite a few of our regulars. So spread the word again - Abyssfull is actually back and promises to be punctual.
New this round is a raffle. At the end of each round from here on out I will put the name of everyone who submitted (1 ticket for each submission, so if you end up with 5 entries, you get 5 tickets put in) and I will randomly pull a name. This person will win a predetermined prize. The prize this round is....3 Month Livejournal Subscription!.
Also - I accidently deleted the forum. Which is why I should not be allowed on my FTP server before I've had at least three cups of tea, so voting is going to happen the old fashioned way.
